Djurgårdsporten, or The Blue Gate as it is also called, is the only preserved portal construction for Djurgården.
The cast iron gate was manufactured by Brevens Bruk in Asker and erected at Djurgården on 23. November 1848. The arch is decorated with King Oskar I's monogram and on both sides are 2 gilded deer.
On the doors there is also a gilded picture of women's faces. The gate itself is also beautifully decorated with flowers and leaves.
The gate has changed places and has been renovated a few times, in late 2009.
