Bundesbüdchen - Zur feierlichen Neueröffnung waren Presse und Prominenz vor Ort
Bonn - Viele Menschen kamen zur Neueröffnung des Bonner Bundesbüdchens, das nur wenige hundert Meter von seinem Ursprungsplatz im Bundesviertel Bonn aufgebaut ist. Über die Jahrzehnte ist der ehemalige Kiosk ein Stück Geschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland geworden.
Christel Rausch hat schon 1949 mit einem Karren im Bonner Viertel gestanden und Obst verkauft. Das Geschäft lief gut und so stand ab 1957 ein schwarz gekachelter, ovaler Kiosk an der damaligen Görrestraße, genau zwischen Bundeskanzleramt, Bundesamt und Bundesrat. Zeitungen, Zigaretten, Gummibärchen und belegte Brötchen, all das kaufte die teils national berühmte Kundschaft.
1984 übernahm Christels Sohn Jürgen Rausch das Büdchen. Bei ihm ließ Helmut Kohl sich seine Brötchen holen, Joschka Fischer kaufte dort nach dem Joggen seine Zeitungen. Sogar Friedrich Nowottny löste Wettschulden der TV-Sendung "Wetten, dass...?" beim Bundesbüdchen ein, indem er Würstchen verkaufte.
Besonders war an dem Zeitungskiosk jedoch vor allem die Atmosphäre, die es, nicht zuletzt durch seinen Besitzer, ausstrahlte. Stefan Eisel, seiner Zeit 9 Jahre im Kanzleramt und Bundestagsabgeordneter der CDU, sieht in dem Kiosk einen Ort, der eine vertraute und familiäre Umgebung geschaffen hat. "2006 gab es von der Stadt keine Sensibilität für den emotionalen und historischen Wert dieses Gebäudes", so Eisel. Er spricht von dem Bauvorhaben des World Conference Centers Bonn, bei dem das Büdchen im Weg stand. Nur das Eingreifen des Denkmalschutzes verhinderte den Abriss und lagerte es stattdessen auf dem Bauhof Bornheim-Hersel ein. Für Rausch, der seit dem Regierungsumzug 1999 immer mehr Kunden verlor, war der Abbau seines Kiosks ein harter Schlag.
"Rausch ist 2006 von seinem Hausarzt zu mir geschickt worden", berichtete Peter Storsberg, Jürgen Rauschs Anwalt und einer der Hauptakteure zum Wiederaufbau des Büdchens. "Ich hatte die Idee für den 'Förderverein historischer Verkaufspavillon Görrestraße e.V.', daher bin ich automatisch zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden geworden." Mit 22 Mitgliedern und in Koalition mit anderen städtischen Organisationen hat der Verein die enormen Summen zusammengetragen, die für den Wiederaufbau nötig gewesen sind. Dass aus dem Kiosk eine Bäckerei geworden ist, ist der guten Zusammenarbeit des Vereins mit dem Bonner Bäckermeister Peter Mauel geschuldet, der am Tag der Neueröffnung persönlich hinter der Theke stand.
Diese Tätigkeit möchte Jürgen Rausch, inzwischen 64 Jahre alt, nicht ganz aufgeben. Er will hin und wieder ebenfalls im Büdchen Brötchen verkaufen. "Das Bundesbüdchen ist ein historisches Mosaiksteinchen, eine Versinnbildlichung der Geschichte der Bundesrepublik. Und wie Stefan Eisel bereits sagte: Es gibt keinen Ort, an dem das Bundesbüdchen sein sollte, wenn nicht im Bundesviertel Bonn", erklärte Jürgen Rausch mit Blick auf die Menschenmenge, die für die Eröffnung gekommen war.
Auf einer kleinen Bühne wurden anschließend Grußworte gesprochen, Kuchen verteilt und der Sieg gefeiert, nach 14 Jahren, viel investiertem Geld, einem komplizierten Wiederaufbau und einigen Gesprächen mit der Stadt vor einem denkmalgerecht renovierten und historisch wertvollen Stück Bonns zu stehen.
Wer den Kiosk besuchen möchte, findet ihn an der Ecke Heussallee auf dem Platz der Vereinten Nationen. Da das Bundesbüdchen zwar funktionsfähig, aber noch nicht komplett fertiggestellt ist, freut sich der Förderverein auch weiterhin über Spenden. Weitere Informationen unter www.bundesbuedchen.de.

Bonn - A lot of people came to the reopening of the Bonner Bundesbüdchen, which is only a few hundred meters from its original location in the federal district of Bonn. Over the decades, the former kiosk has become part of the history of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Christel Rausch stood with a cart in the Bonn district as early as 1949 and sold fruit. Business was going well and from 1957 a black-tiled, oval kiosk stood on what was then Görrestrasse, exactly between the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Office and the Federal Council. Newspapers, cigarettes, gummy bears and sandwiches - all of this was bought by the nationally famous customers.
In 1984 Christel's son Jürgen Rausch took over the Büdchen. Helmut Kohl had his rolls fetched from him, and Joschka Fischer bought his newspapers there after jogging. Even Friedrich Nowottny solved the betting debts of the TV show "Wetten, dass ...?" at the federal booth by selling sausages.
What was special about the newspaper kiosk was the atmosphere that it exuded, not least because of its owner. Stefan Eisel, who spent 9 years in the Chancellery and a member of the Bundestag for the CDU, sees the kiosk as a place that has created a trustworthy and familiar environment. "In 2006 the city was not sensitive to the emotional and historical value of this building," said Eisel. He speaks of the construction project for the World Conference Center in Bonn, where the kiosk stood in the way. Only the intervention of the monument protection prevented the demolition and instead stored it at the Bornheim-Hersel building yard. For Rausch, who has been losing more and more customers since the government moved in 1999, the dismantling of his kiosk was a hard blow.
"Rausch was sent to me by his family doctor in 2006," reported Peter Storsberg, Jürgen Rausch's lawyer and one of the main players in the rebuilding of the Büdchen. "I had the idea for the 'Förderverein historical sales pavilion Görrestrasse e.V.', so I automatically became the chairman of the board." With 22 members and in coalition with other municipal organizations, the association has collected the enormous sums that were necessary for the reconstruction. The fact that the kiosk has become a bakery is due to the good cooperation between the association and the Bonn master baker Peter Mauel, who was personally behind the counter on the day it opened.
Jürgen Rausch, now 64 years old, does not want to give up this job entirely. Every now and then he also wants to sell bread rolls in the Büdchen. "The Bundesbüdchen is a historical piece of the mosaic, a symbolization of the history of the Federal Republic. And as Stefan Eisel already said: There is no place where the Bundesbüdchen should be if not in the federal district of Bonn," explained Jürgen Rausch, looking at the crowd, who came for the opening.
Greetings were then spoken on a small stage, cakes were distributed and the victory was celebrated, after 14 years, a lot of money invested, a complicated reconstruction and a few talks with the city, standing in front of a historically valuable piece of Bonn that has been renovated in accordance with historical regulations. </ p>
