"Das Erika-Fuchs-Haus – Museum für Comic und Sprachkunst in Schwarzenbach an der Saale würdigt das Werk von Erika Fuchs, die von 1951 bis 1988 Übersetzerin und Chefredakteurin des Micky-Maus-Magazins war. In Schwarzenbach hat Erika Fuchs einen großen Teil ihres Lebens verbracht.

Architekt des Gebäudes ist der Karlsruher Dominik Burkard. Trägerin des Museums ist die Stadt Schwarzenbach a.d. Saale. Die Eröffnung fand am 1. August 2015 statt.

In den ersten fünf Jahren haben rund 70.000 Menschen die verschiedenen Ausstellungen besucht." (visit link)

Zur Grundsteinlegung wurde am 21.07.2013 eine Zeitkapsel befüllt. Unter anderem (siehe Bilder im Link) wurde auch ein Micky Maus Heft hineingelegt.

The architect of the building is Dominik Burkard from Karlsruhe. The sponsor of the museum is the city of Schwarzenbach a.d. Saale. The opening took place on August 1st, 2015.
