Mindesten over besætningen på Halifax II W7886 som blev skudt ned af en tysk natjager 17. januar 1943.
Halifax W7886 var sammen med 170 Lancasters og 16 andre Halifaxes fløjet til Berlin for anden nat i træk at bombe. Halifax W7886 fik motorproblemer og vendte om, men blev angrebet
over Lillebælt.
3 flyvere omkom i det brændende fly, men 4 af flyverne nåede at springe ud med faldskærm. L. R. Adcock landede dog i Lillebælt hvor hans lig senere blev fundet.

Halifax W7886 along with 170 Lancasters and 16 other Halifaxes had flown to Berlin for the second night in a row to bomb. Halifax W7886 got engine problems and turned around but was attacked
over the Little Belt.
3 pilots perished in the burning plane, but 4 of the pilots managed to jump out with a parachute. However, L. R. Adcock landed in the Little Belt where his body was later found.
