The ISS passed over Abilene, TX at 05:38:02 at a Max Alt of 78° to the SW. The magnitude was -3.9. Love Cachers were successful in observing the Pass.
The ISS passed over Donna, TX at 05:39:31 at a Max Alt of 54° to the NE. The Magnitude was -3.2. I was also successful in observing the Pass.
The time between the two observations was one minute and 29 seconds. The distance along the ISS Flight Path calculates to 438 miles.
I missed it's appearance from the Earth's shadow. A quick run indoors for a Kleenex to blow my nose is my excuse. The ISS was very bright as it passed overhead.
Being so close to the Gulf, we had 95% humidity this morning and that created a lot of haze in the sky. The ISS disappeared into the haze as it got down to about 45°. I was on the phone with Love Cachers as we watched the ISS. They said they could still see the ISS after I could no longer see it due to haze.
