"The cemetery was designed by Edwin Lutyens and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is located a kilometer and a half northeast of the village center of Wijtschate, just north of the hamlet of Oosttaverne. The site has an irregular shape with an area of ??4340 m² and is arranged in different levels. At the front is an entrance building with three arched passages, two of which are closed by a stone balustrade. In the center is the Stone of Remembrance and on the next perk is the Cross of Sacrifice.
