At the southwest corner of the intersection of E0610 Road and N2899 Road is an interesting complex; Mt. Zion Church and Morrison Hall (both now abandoned), and between them this red brick pioneer memorial. Although the buildings are abandoned, the site had been recently mowed. The memorial lists hundreds of names of those who traveled across the country to settle in these newly-opened prairie lands.
