A military cemetery from the First World War, it is very well maintained like all the others in the region. It is important to discover these places of memory. Let us never forget these young people coming to die with us for our freedom.

"The Raillencourt-Sainte-Olle area was occupied by the Germans from the end of August 1914 and remained away from the front until September 28, 1918, when the village was recaptured by Canadian troops during the Battle of the Canal du Nord.

This cemetery was created in October 1918. It was enlarged in 1923 by the addition of graves from temporary cemeteries in the surrounding area.

The cemetery now contains 199 First World War graves, eight of which are unidentified. It was designed by WC Von Berg."
