Het concept ‘steakhouse’ bestaat al sinds de 19e eeuw en is begonnen in de Verenigde Staten. Maar in Londen openden de eerste ‘chophouses’, restaurants waar stukken vlees konden worden gegeten, al in de jaren 1690. Deze ‘chophouses’ waren alleen geopend voor mannen.
De naam Steakhouse Amadeus is verzonnen door de eerste eigenaar. Hij was een liefhebber van Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart en zijn favoriete land was Amerika. Zodoende is hij waarschijnlijk op de naam Steakhouse Amadeus gekomen.
Amadeus heeft kwalitatief goed vlees en verse vis, de bijzondere houtskoolgrill maakt een bezoek aan het restaurant tot een overheerlijke ervaring.
Als je komt lunchen kun je diverse sandwiches, tosti's en broodjes bestellen. Maar ook soep of een salade hoort tot de mogenlijkheden.
