Taken from the website, "The Davis-Horton House, built in 1850, is the oldest house in San Diego's Historic Gaslamp Quarter which is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Walk inside and you will be transported back to the Victorian Era, where each room represents a different period and function. You can experience the feeling of sailing back through time and living the way early San Diegans did. The self-guided tour includes a brochure that relates many fascinating tidbits about the people who lived in the House and their impact on the area formerly known as "New Town" . The audio tour gives a more detailed description of the import of the Davis-Horton House in the history of early San Diego. Walking tours of the Gaslamp Quarter highlight the restored buildings of the 1880's to the 1920's."
