This retired look-out tower resides in front of the Talladega Ranger Station as part of an interpretive display educating visitors about the Civilian Conservation Corp and the use of an Alidade to triangulate the location of fires. The tower is accessible but upon request through the ranger station. Otherwise the tower is available every day as well as the signs surrounding it.
