De 8 meter brede hellingbaan van Marnemoemde, langs de Hollandse IJssel te IJsselstein, heeft een 25 meter lange betonnen helling. Met een Roodberg botenkar kunnen wij schepen tot 23 ton uit het water halen. Bij de hellingbaan ligt een vloeistofdichte schoonspuitplaat. Met een hogedrukreiniger (wij gebruiken opgevangen regenwater) spuiten wij het onderwater schip schoon. Kleinere boten (sloepen) worden met hijsbanden aan verlengde palletlepels uit het wate gehesen. Wij kunnen boten met pech (bijv.plastic in de schroef) uit het water halen om dit te verwijderen en de boot weer terug zetten in het water. .

De Hellingbaan is uitstekend te gebruiken als trailerhelling baan, voor boten op trailer met auto. Dagkaarten voor het gebruik van de trailerhelling zijn bij het havenkantoor te verkrijgen voor 10 euro. Een jaarabonnement kost 75 euro. Parkeren van auto met trailer kan op het naastgelegen grasveld.

The 8 meter wide ramp at Marnemoemde, along the Hollandse IJssel in IJsselstein, has a 25 meter long concrete ramp. With a Roodberg boat trailer we can get ships up to 23 tons out of the water. There is a liquid-tight cleaning plate at the ramp. We spray the underwater ship clean with a high-pressure cleaner (we use collected rainwater). Smaller boats (sloops) are lifted out of the water with lifting straps on extended pallet forks. We can take boats with bad luck (eg plastic in the propeller) out of the water to remove this and put the boat back in the water. .

The Hellingbaan is excellent to use as a slipway track, for boats on a trailer with a car. Day tickets for using the slipway are available at the harbor office for 10 euros. An annual subscription costs 75 euros. You can park a car with a trailer on the adjacent lawn.
