According to a city worker who was setting up holiday decorations in the park to the south, this gas station was constructed in the late 1950s. He could not recall the brand of fuel sold. It became a "Jet Stop" (convenience store with gas pumps) in the 1970s. Now the building is used for storage. The pumps are gone, but you can see where they were.
