[EN] "Turku Cathedral (Finnish: Turun tuomiokirkko, Swedish: Åbo domkyrka) is the only medieval basilica in Finland and the Mother Church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. It is the central church of the Lutheran Archdiocese of Turku and the seat of the Lutheran Archbishop of Finland, Tapio Luoma. It is also regarded as one of the major records of Finnish architectural history.
Considered to be the most important religious building in Finland, the cathedral has borne witness to many important events in the nation's history and has become one of the city's most recognizable symbols. The cathedral is situated in the heart of Turku next to the Old Great Square, by the river Aura. Its presence extends beyond the local precinct by having the sound of its bells chiming at noon broadcast on national radio. It is also central to Finland's annual Christmas celebrations."

For some reason, very few puzzles have been made from this large and highly photographic church. I think there would be many different angles in the cathedral that could be used in the picture of the puzzle.
In front of the church is traditionally Finland's tallest Christmas tree at Christmas time. The spruce is called the "First Spruce of the Finland." The first Christmas tree lit by electric lamps were brought to the church as early as 1900, and the regular tradition of the Cathedral's Christmas tree began in the 1930s. Only in the war years has there been a break from tradition. The spruce of 2021 comes from Säkylä and that 55-year-old tree has a height of 23 meters.
In front of the puzzle there is a paved square, from where car traffic passed towards the center of Turku and the Cathedral Bridge. Heavy traffic began to push the ground down and was moved farther. Before, there was even a podium for police traffic control, with one police officer in turn directing traffic.

Jostain syystä tästä kookkaasta ja erittäin valokuvauksellisesta kirkosta on hyvin vähän valmistettu palapelejä. Katedraalista löytyisi mielestäni monia eri kuvakulmia joita voisi käyttää hyväksi palapelin kuvassa.
Kirkon edessä on perinteisesti joulun aikaan Suomen korkein joulukuusi. Kuusesta käytetään nimitystä "Valtakunnan Ykköskuusi." Ensimmäinen sähkölampuilla valaistu kuusi tuotiin kirkolle jo vuonna 1900 ja säännöllinen perinne Tuomiokirkontorin joulukuusesta alkoi 1930-luvulla. Vain sotavuosina on ollut taukoa perinteestä. Vuoden 2021 kuusi on peräisin Säkylästä ja tuolla 55 vuotiaalla puulla on korkeutta 23 metriä.
Palapelin edustalla on kivetetty aukio, josta autoliikenne kulki ennen kohti Turun keskustaa ja Tuomiokirkkosiltaa. Raskas liikenne alkoi painaa maata alas ja sen siirrettiin kulkemaan kauemmaksi. Paikalla oli ennen jopa poliisin likenteenohjausta varten koroke, jossa oli vuorollaan yksi poliisi ohjaamassa liikennettä.
