The Pratt Fish Hatchery is in southeast Pratt. Operated by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, the hatchery has about eighty ponds (all on the west side of the facility). The facility also has a Visitors Center. When it was constructed in 1913, it was the largest fish hatchery in the United States! This large fishing pond (for kids 15 and under) is just north of the administration building. There is ample parking on the west side of the pond, just a few feet from the shoreline.
