Ivöleden is a cable ferry sailing between Ivö and Barum.
The ferry on the route is called Karna. The length of the ferry route is 700 meters and the crossing time is approximately seven minutes. Both cars, bicycles and pedestrians sail with the ferry, which is also free to use. The ferry sails every 20 minutes from 04.20 in the morning to 24 in the evening.
The fact that the ferry is a cable ferry means that it does not have a motor, but is pulled back and forth by a cable. Therefore, there are certain rules for other ships that will cross the route.
