This is an old park, built in 1913. The entrance is marked with a neat mosaic. The Bell family donated the land and continue to keep the park up, even though it belongs to the city.

The overlook platform extends a bit past the slop of the hill, and give a great view of the Missouri River and the Missouri Valley in Howard County across the river.
