Memorial plaque to Capt. Charles Strangeways Torriano, at the west end of the south aisle, All Saints' church, East Budleigh. It consists of a rectangular brass plaque with black lettering and occasional red first letter. The border has a black trim with a thinner black line on the inside.

The inscription reads -

Capt. Charles Strangeways Torriano served in the expedition to Walcheren (an unsuccessful British expedition to the Netherlands in 1809 during the Napoleonic war, intended to open another front in the Austrian Empire's struggle with France during the War of the Fifth Coalition.) and was present at the siege of Flushing (visit link)
