DE: In der Düffelstraße am Waldrand unweit des Sportplatzes in der Ortschaft Bornheim-Walberberg wurde durch die Anwohner ein Insektenhotel aufgestellt. Das Insektenhotel besitzt einen etwa 80cm breiten quadratischen Hauptrahmen in dem im unteren Fach angebohrte dickere Äste zu finden sind. Im oberen Fach befinden sich Tannenzapfen und Sandsteinziegel mit Löchern. Im dreieckigen Giebel darüber befinden sich nochmals angebohrte Äste in verschiedenen Stärken.
Für die Winterzeit wurde noch eine Futterstation für die Vögel unter dem Hotel montiert.

EN: In the Düffelstraße on the edge of the forest not far from the sports field in the village of Bornheim-Walberberg, an insect hotel was set up by the residents. The insect hotel has an approximately 80cm wide square main frame in which thicker branches drilled through in the lower compartment can be found. In the upper compartment there are pine cones and sandstone bricks with holes. In the triangular gable above there are again drilled branches in different thicknesses.
For the winter time, a feeding station for the birds was installed under the hotel.
