Near Venlo is a street with my last name (Beckers)

When working near Venlo I saw on the map the Beckersweg. I am called Ivo Beckers and so I really wanted to visit this place. The street is a bit like the street going to nowhere, as it leads through fields and has no homes next to it. The abbey of Bethanië next to the road is the only building worth mentioning. I rechearched online but could not find out anything about the history of the street. It is problably named after one of the namesakes in Limburg (the last name is derived from 'baker' and is very common in Limburg) or from the mayor Beckers that Venlo used to have.
