Bernardo's behoort tot de top 20 van beste ijssalons in Nederland volgens 24 kitchen in 2019
'Bernardo’s is al jaren bekend als IJssalon in Ede en omstreken. Bijna iedere Edenaar van klein tot groot heeft wel eens een ijsje bij Bernardo’s gegeten. Kenmerkend voor Bernardo’s is dat het ijs op ambachtelijke wijze en dagelijks vers gemaakt wordt. Wanneer je een ijsje van Bernardo’s eet dan proef je de heerlijke volle smaak. We kunnen wel meer dan 80 smaken maken en ieder jaar komen er wel 1 of 2 smaken bij. Naast de reguliere smaken heeft Bernardo’s ook ijs voor diabetici en mensen met allergieën zoals lactose en gluten.
Bernardo’s is gespecialiseerd in het zelf ontwikkelen van smaken en speciale toppings. Voorbeelden vindt u direct bij ons in de ijsvitrine, bakken ijs als het ware “opgemaakt” met verschillende toppings of huisgebrande noten zoals de croccantino of de macadamia maar ook de pistache en niet te vergeten de alom bekende hazelnoot. Aan de andere kant hebben we ook heerlijke vruchten ijssmaken, naast de bekende smaken hebben we ook de wat onbekende tropische smaken. Ze hebben allemaal wat gemeen met elkaar ze bevatten geen melk producten en bevatten zoveel vruchten dat je precies die heerlijke vrucht proeft.
Bernardo’s is een laagdrempelige ijssalon die toegankelijk is voor iedereen, van jong tot oud! Iedereen lust wel een ijsje, bij Bernardo’s wordt u snél en vriendelijk geholpen door jonge maar enthousiaste ploeg van scholieren en studenten.

'Bernardo's has been known for years as an ice cream parlor in Ede and the surrounding area. Almost every Edenaar, from small to large, has eaten an ice cream at Bernardo's. Characteristic of Bernardo's is that the ice cream is made fresh daily in an artisanal way. When you eat an ice cream from Bernardo's you will taste the delicious full taste. We can make more than 80 flavors and every year 1 or 2 flavors are added. In addition to the regular flavors, Bernardo's also has ice cream for diabetics and people with allergies such as lactose and gluten.
Bernardo's specializes in developing flavors and special toppings in-house. Examples can be found directly in our ice cream display case, baking ice cream as it were “made up” with different toppings or home-roasted nuts such as the croccantino or macadamia, but also the pistachio, not to mention the well-known hazelnut. On the other hand, we also have delicious fruit ice cream flavors, in addition to the well-known flavors we also have the somewhat unknown tropical flavors.
