On the east side of Indian Meridian, north of Rt. 66, is a beautiful gate to a private property. The gate is approximately 12' wide, and 4' high in the middle. A large shade tree forms the center of the gate, and the bisected sections together form the tree. The right side of the gate (south) depicts a deer family facing a roadrunner. The left side (north) depicts a bunny facing the viewer, a racoon behind it, then a deer whose mouth reaches the tree, and at the far end a turkey. Above the turkey is a branch with leaves. There appear to be a few clouds at the top of the left panel. Two scissortail flycatchers (the state bird) adorn the very top corners of the gate, about 10' up.

Enter any comments or observation about this gate.: Such a unique and beautiful wildlife representation! I especially enjoyed seeing a turkey on the gate since the farm animal sanctuary just south of this property has rescued turkeys.
