De ReShare Store is een tweedehands kledingwinkel van het Leger des Heils. Wij vinden 'opnieuw delen' belangrijk. Wat jij overhebt aan kleding kan iemand anders opnieuw dragen. Iemand die misschien weinig te besteden heeft of iemand die kleding zoekt waar een verhaal achter zit. En het milieu heeft er ook wat aan, want minder nieuwe kleding betekent minder productie. Zo is de ReShare Store er voor iedereen.

In 2013 werden de contouren geschetst van de eerste ReShare Store. Door de economische crisis klopten steeds meer mensen aan bij o.a. het Leger des Heils voor gratis kleding. In alle lagen van de bevolking groeide de vraag naar goedkope kleding. Daardoor begon onze zoektocht naar een manier om al deze mensen te kunnen voorzien. Een frisse winkel, met kwaliteitskleding, dicht bij de mensen en dicht bij het hart van het Leger des Heils. Dat moest het gaan worden. De eerste winkel begon als pilotwinkel in Groningen (Westerkade). Met een tijdelijke vormgeving en eenvoudige inrichting namen we een jaar de tijd om te testen of de winkel succesvol was. En ja hoor. Het duurde maar even en een grote, vaste klantenkring wist onze winkel te vinden. Een jaar later verhuisde de pilotwinkel naar haar definitieve en huidige locatie in de Oosterstraat. Vervolgens werden filialen geopend in Den Haag, Breda, Arnhem, Rotterdam, Nijmegen etc. Kijk hier voor alle filialen.

The ReShare Store is a second-hand clothing store of the Salvation Army. We think 're-sharing' is important. What you have left in clothes someone else can wear again. Someone who may have little to spend or someone who is looking for clothes with a story behind it. And it also benefits the environment, because less new clothing means less production. So the ReShare Store is there for everyone.

The demand for cheap clothing grew in all walks of life. This started our search for a way to provide for all these people. A fresh store, with quality clothing, close to the people and close to the heart of the Salvation Army. That had to be it. The first store started as a pilot store in Groningen (Westerkade). With a temporary design and simple interior, we took a year to test whether the store was successful. And yes. It only took a moment and a large, regular customer base managed to find our store. A year later, the pilot store moved to its definitive and current location in Oosterstraat.
