The village of Dallas in the north central part of Florida is part of Summerfield, an unincorporated community in Marion County. It is along US-301/FL-35, immediately outside of the [currently] northwest corner of The Villages, Florida. The only other information I found about the area is based on Google Maps -- there appears to be some equestrian activity -- and a small blue sign seen in the background of my photos for Donna's Dream Cakes. (I gave her a call; friendly...and discovered the website seems to work fully only on mobile phones...and that Dallas used to be its own town and got absorbed into Summerfield.)

The metropolitan area of Dallas, Texas, has a population of 1.33 million as of 2019. It is the largest city in and seat of Dallas County and the ninth most-populous city in the U.S. It has a large concentrations of telecommunications and high-technology manufacturing and services companies, is a major transportation hub and the trucking and distribution center in the Southwest, is known for its cultural activities in music and arts districts, and home to several major professional sports teams.
