In 1980 Norrisville UMC joined with Ayres' Chapel UMC to form the Norrisville Charge. In 1997, St. Paul UMC joined the Norrisville Charge and the three churches functioned as a charge conference until June 2013. In June 2013, Ayres' Chapel UMC left the charge conference to become a cooperative parish with Jarrettsville UMC"
