The St Jan cemtery is located in Waalwijks town center. It has many unique / special graves. Many people from the shoe industry era (early 1900's) are buried here. Which includes Leo van Schijndel, son of Antonius. The grave is located at the back. Walking up the path to the left.

On the local wiki page of his dad Antonius van Schijndel (owner of a local shoe factory), more information can be found about Leo's death:

"The year 1918 turned out to be a disaster year. It started promisingly with a double marriage of the sons Jan and Antoon with daughters of Van Thiel from Beek en Donk. Toon also took steps to become hobby farmers on the Roestelberg. In July, however, Leo drowned while sailing on the Lek and in November Jan succumbed to the Spanish flu, shortly after fathering a daughter. The loss of Jan was a great loss for the factory. He represented a combination of trade and language skills that had proved so fruitful for the company over the years. To complete the management, Antoon was included in the management. In 1923 the company's 50th anniversary was celebrated and in 1927 the golden wedding of Toon and Maria, in which a granddaughter also got married."
