The notary Fisherstraat (formerly Grotestraat) used to be (1790 to 1941) the most important street in Ede. Here stood the old town hall, the inn of the village and the notary lived there.
The house next to the 'Notary Fisher house' was built later, but in the same style as the house of the notary.
On the facade of the house is written: 'de Linden'. On the door of this house is a door knocker of a lion.
