L'église Saint-Laurent, bâtie au XIe siècle (nef, croisillon sud du transept, absidiole et abside), a été remaniée au XIIe siècle (clocher et façade sud).
Au XIXe siècle, la nef a reçu quatre travées de voûtes de briques (comme tout le reste de l'église). Cette nef aboutit à un transept dont le croisillon nord se trouve sous le clocher, et dont le croisillon sud est accompagné d'une absidiole semi-circulaire encastrée dans un mur dont le parement n'épouse que le quart de cercle sud et rejoint l'abside perpendiculairement. Au nord, le clocher carré, à deux niveaux de baies en plein cintre, est coiffé d'une flèche octogonale en pierre (de 1720) avec quatre clochetons d'angle (du XVe siècle).
Il est à noter que la traditionnelle girouette en forme de coq gaulois des clochers français est remplacée, ici, par un croissant de lune (ou, selon certains, un croissant musulman).
Cette église renferme des vitraux signés par les maîtres-verriers tourangeaux Fournier père (Julien) et fils (Lux). Celui-ci, signé par Julien Fournier en 1885, représente le supplice de saint Laurent, allongé sur un grill brûlant.
Le maître-autel à la romaine a été sculpté par l'abbé Henri-Prosper Guillot en 1838.
Ce lutrin en fer forgé, dont la base est en pierre, a été fabriqué vers 1800. Jadis, il était surmonté d'une croix en cuivre doré.
A l'extérieur de l'église, près du chevet, on remarque une pierre d'attente des morts (ou dépositoire funéraire).

The Saint-Laurent church, built in the 11th century (nave, south transept, absidiole and apse), was reworked in the 12th century (bell tower and south façade).
In the 19th century, the nave received four bays of brick vaults (like the rest of the church). This nave leads to a transept whose northern crossing is under the bell tower, and whose southern crossing is accompanied by a semicircular absidiole embedded in a wall whose facing only follows the southern quarter circle and joins the apse perpendicularly. To the north, the square bell tower, with two levels of semicircular bays, is topped by an octagonal stone spire (1720) with four corner bells (15th century).
It should be noted that the traditional Gallic rooster-shaped weathervane of French bell towers is replaced here by a crescent moon (or, according to some, a Muslim crescent).
This church contains stained glass windows signed by the master glassworkers Fournier père (Julien) and fils (Lux). This one, signed by Julien Fournier in 1885, represents the torture of Saint Laurent, lying on a burning grill.
The high altar in the Roman style was sculpted by Abbé Henri-Prosper Guillot in 1838.
This wrought iron lectern, with a stone base, was made around 1800. In the past, it was topped by a gilded copper cross.
Outside the church, near the chevet, there is a waiting stone for the dead (or funeral depository).
