"Pizza Hut is the largest restaurant chain in the world specializing in pizzas. It is a branch company, but also has international franchisees. The company was founded in 1958 by two college students (Dan and Frank Carney) in Wichita. The company was acquired by PepsiCo in 1977. There are a total of 12,000 restaurants, drive-in restaurants and kiosks spread across 86 countries.
In 1984 Pizza Hut opened its first restaurant in Belgium, in Brussels."
