John Weir Foote Armoury is a large building located on James St North in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Managed by the DND (Department of National Defense). The north section of the building was constructed between 1887 and 1888 and replaced earlier wooden drill sheds. The south section of the building was constructed in 1908.
The Armoury site is listed in the Canadian Federal Contaminated Sites Inventory as Site 00024951 - John Foote Armoury. Initial testing has revealed the presence of PHCs (petroleum hydrocarbons) in the soil and Halogenated Hydrocarbon in the groundwater.
