Erotic bronze door handle at the front door of Tegners Museum. A woman and a man kiss each other. The door handle was made in 1897 by the Danish artist Rudolph Tegner. The door handle measures b.13.2 d. 7.5 cm and originally sat on the door at Rudolph Tegner's own house in Hellerup. Later it was put on the front door of Tegner's Museum.

The sculptor Rudolph Tegner has himself been the architect and builder of Tegner's Museum. The museum and the surrounding sculpture park contain 335 of his works.
Rudolph Tegner is buried under the floor in the middle hall of the museum. His wife Elna Tegner lies in an urn in the plinth of the statue "Apollo" also in the middle hall.
