Cedar Hill Walking Tour

"The house at 405 West Belt Line Road was built in 1940 by Alexander Newt Vincent on land that had been in his family since the late 1800s. The modest woodclad structure is an I-shaped construction on Bois d’Arc piers with a gable roof and small enclosed back entry. More prominent than the adjacent house is a domed storm shelter with brick ventilation flue built years before, around 1900, for Alexander’s grandmother, Patricia Vincent Johnson."
