In the temple of Batuan there are a lot of small houses that has Thatch Cottages made the roofs with strow and the walls with mud.
Bali is a troplical region and the rain is little but torrential.
In this small buildings the musical instruments are protected and there is also lodging so that the monks can be alone in their inner world.
This temple was built in 1040.
