This wayside cross is located on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. The metal cross stands on a stone pedestal and has an engraved stone which states its significance: "Brig. Genl. Edward Sigerfoos was mortally wounded before this wayside cross in the Argonne, Sept. 29, 1918, which is given by the mayor & citizens of Montblainville, France."

Edward Sigerfoos was the only American general to be killed in combat during World War I.
