The Skate Park is located near downtown Zeeland. The Ice Rink has a synthetic surface but traditional ice skates are used for skating.
Skate rentals available: free with library card.
Food and refreshments available downtown.
The city clears the ice as needed but there is a shovel on-site for skaters to clear the ice. A bench and fold-up seats (red, yellow in the photo) are available for lacing-up skates and resting.
The synthetic ice is made out of artificial materials and could be skated on all year, but the Zeeland rink is only open through the end of winter. This allows the park to be used for other activities during the other seasons.
