Holy Church of Our Lady - Kato Garouna, Corfu, Greece - Orthodox Churches on Waymarking.com

Coming from the coast you pass the cemetery about 500 meters before you enter the village Kato Garouna. It is a terraced area of an irregular shape with about 250 graves. Th church is at the north side.

It is a two story building painted in yellow with white corner strips. It has a freestandig bell tower with two bells and a gate to the entrance of the church.

I could not find any documentation about this building, except the name Ιερος Ναος Παναγίας (Holy Church of Our Lady).

The church has no sign, there was a large sign lying on the ground, saying "parish cemetery of Kato Garouna" (in Greek, of course).
