A small wash house in a small hamlet not far from São Brás de Alportel, in southern Portugal

This small wash houses has six washing stations, although it's obviously not in use anymore. Most of the taps are damaged or are non-existent. Curiously in some of the washing station people placed bricks so the shorter women could still take care of their laundry.
This is the center of the hamlet, as the mail boxes and the garbage bins show.
