This small washing house serves the hamlet of Monte das Soeiras, in the municipality of Almodôvar. It's probably not in use anymore. The community shrank dramatically with the aging of the region and less then ten persons live there.
There are four washing station. The structure is in good condition and there is a plaque showing it was built or renovated in 1985.
