Insect hotel in Brunnskogen with an information board about bees. The material consists of wood in different thicknesses and species. Among other things, birch and beech, both sticks and thicker branches. Holes have been drilled in the branches so that the insects can hide.
The insect hotel can be found at point 2 when following Ekkorstigen. It is a self-guided tour through Brunnsskogen together with the squirrel Kurrekott. The walk is a 1.5 km round trip where you learn about the forest's animals, plants and insects. Each point consists of an information board where Kurrekott tells about what is happening.
It is possible to translate the stories into English, German, Polish and Arabic using an app and a smartphone
A really nice trip for children and parents.
