Mammutrail is a 5.2 km long path in Svanninge hills that you can walk or cycle. On the route you pass different listening posts. At each post you can choose three different stories. The stories, which can be chosen in Danish or English, are about nature on site, about mammoths and hunters and good tips about cycling.
However, one has to work a little to hear the stories. There is a wheel that has to be turned around quite a few times before the story starts.
A really good idea and actually for both kids and adults.

Scientific Principle(s) being demonstrated:
You have to turn the wheel many times and then the story begins. There are three different ones to choose from, and it was especially exciting to hear about the geology of the sites.

Briefly explain if the experiment was effective for you. Could it have been better?:
The wheel had to be turned quite a few times before the stories began. But it was a lot of fun .... power is obviously made when the wheel is turned, maybe a bit like an old-fashioned gramophone. We think it's fun and creative

When is the apparatus/experiment available to the public:
Dawn to Dusk
