This is a fairly common model of obelisk, a little faded but otherwise in good condition. The family name, "Noble", is on the front plinth, and on the shaft is Jesus with two children, above the inscription:

Eliza
Noble,

---

Born
Aug. 24, 1840

Died
July 15, 1886.

---

On the shaft on the south side of the monument is a psychopomp, with this epitaph on the plinth:

We only know that thou hast gone,
and that the same relentless tide
which bore thee from us, still glides on,
and we who mourn thee with it glide.

-----

Going 'round the monument, on the panel and shaft, respectively:

- A Holy Bible and a wreath of roses.

- A cross with roses and a figure holding onto a cross.
