Ecopark located in Waalwijk is an installation for the generation of sustainable energy. The three different components are a wind farm (of five times 1.5 MW = 7.5 MW), a solar power plant (673 kWp) and a landfill gas installation (234 kW).

"WABICO (Waalwijkse Bio-energie Combinatie) has been functional as a fermentation installation since 2015. But also as a 'full-scale' test location for research and development of recycling technologies for organic residual flows. Composting, water purification and green gas from anaerobic digestion are the three most important techniques. Years of technology and product developments result in proven installations that are used by customers worldwide. Also that Wabico, since the last upgrade, can provide approximately 10,000 Dutch households with green gas, for which there is an increasing demand. is a project for generating sustainable energy at the Ecopark in Waalwijk."
