The Clayton River Walk is a spur trail to the Neuse River Trail which meanders along the Neuse River approximately 32 miles. This Eagle Scout Project provided two benches along the trail for the visitors to enjoy. The benches are constructed of wood. Each bench has a separate plaque. The first plaque reads:
