This dam is located just south of Everton, Ontario on Evert Street. The dam was placed as a flood control measure in a joint project between the local County of Wellington and Grand River Conservation Authority in September 1990.
The dam creates a large pond here on the Eramosa River and is a simple Overflow style square dam that flows under the road. at the north corner of the dam is a platform and walkway for accessing the water gauge system.
