Pretty building with decorative columns around the four windows. The name "Urban" on the front of the building, but no date.

This two-story brick building is two blocks from the Waller County Courthouse. The facade has cement decorative pattern of circles and squares. This building was erected before 1922 (see newspaper reference below).

The Galveston Daily News dated 25 Sep 1922

"R. C. formerly of Hempstead, later of Greenville, has returned and will open a general dry goods store in the Urban building as soon as remodeling is completed."
