This church stands in the west of Kato Garouna as one of the most elevated building of the town center. It is a two-storey building, painted in red with a yellow gable. The marble framed entrance door is orientated away from the village towards the hills. The freestanding bell tower is south of the entrance.

The only detail about the history of this church I could find was the sign above the door, saying it was expanded in 1978 with the help of the residents and expatriate citizens of Kato Garouna. The bell tower must be from the 19th century, because there is a nearby grave of the stonemason who created it, dated 1906.
