Saint Ninian's Catholic Church is situated on Bank Street, a narrow sloping side street just east of the town centre of Brechin in the county of Angus, Scotland. It was built by William Leiper in a Normandy Gothic style in 1875-76 as a United Free Church, in sneaked rubble blocks with nave, tower and rear hall.
The main focus of the church is on the front, facing north-east towards the street, with the main feature being the tower with its small octagonal spire. A gabled central section is flanked by transeptal style sections to the north and south, with a pointed-arch doorway. To the south of the doorway the octagonal stair tower features slit windows with five stages denoted by string courses. The top stage has narrow openings. At the opposite end of the gable to the north is a three stage buttress.
The south elevation has a transeptal gable at the east end and the nave has four pairs of tall lancet windows. The north elevation mirrors the south. A hall lies to the west.
Holy Mass is at 10.00am on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
