This is an elaborated compass rose, made of several materials: the center in metal, the second ring in cement/stone and the outter area was integrated in the pavement, using the same material but in different color.
It's located in Parque Independencia, a solemn area, stage of frequent State cerimonies, where two rows of busts represent the Dominicans who sacrificed theirselves for the independence of the country.
