This handmade tombstone is located near the rear of Birsdton Cemetery, near the very large picnic pavilion.

The tombstone reads as follows:

"LAWRENCE
BRYANT
BROTHER
OF
ISAAC"

Fifteen other members of the Bryant family are buried here, including Isaac.

Lawrence Bryant is the only one with a homemade tombstone, but he is buried near Isaac Bryant (1832-1924), a Confederate Civil War Veteran who served in Co. E of the Mississippi Partisan Rangers.
