NL In IJsselstein op de nieuw-aangelegde Schuttersgracht is de winkel van Seydani. Je kon er naartoe om je kleding te laten repareren en het was ook een stomerij. In de etalage van de winkel prijken twee antieke Singer naaimachines. Mijn oma had er ook één, en die wordt nog prominent bewaard door mijn moeder als erfstuk. Ze zien er ook erg mooi uit met dat metaalwerk.

Ik las tijdens het maken van het waymark hier in een artikel van het AD dat de winkel drie maanden dicht moest vanaf 8 november 2021 vanwege een politieonderzoek. Op google staat de winkel nog als ‘gesloten’ vermeld, hoewel de termijn van drie maanden inmiddels is verstreken.
ENG Seydani's shop is located in IJsselstein on the newly built Schuttersgracht. You could go there to get your clothes repaired and it was also a dry cleaner. Two antique Singer sewing machines adorn the shop window. My grandmother also had one, and it is still prominently preserved by my mother as an heirloom. They also look really nice with that metalwork.

While making the waymark, I read here in an article by the AD that the store had to close for three months from November 8, 2021 due to a police investigation. The store is still listed as 'closed' on Google, although the three-month period has now expired.
